Great to know about Rue Sophie! I have the Provenance jacket and while it works, the XXS is still pretty oversized on me. Will be looking out for more petites. I was also on the hunt for petite focused Substacks. A girl can only hope!
Indeed! Although I ended up keeping it as it’s less long than wide and over another jacket looks just about acceptably oversized! Brands are mostly rubbish at smaller sizes. I got excited when Cos started doing petite sizes but that only lasted a hot second. Me+Em curate a ‘petite friendly’ list which is good and better than nothing! xx
Hi Catherine, oh bummer about the Provenance jacket! Had we known, you could have waited for the XXSP and the XSP to launch! I literally *just* saw Anna from The Wardrobe Edit say her Rue Sophie jacket is super long and super oversized. I wonder if they launched petite on the back of receiving lots of similar feedback. Long jackets on short women just do not work. If you go for one of their petite pieces in the future, let me know your thoughts.
