I found the Salazar/Strachan conversation to be fascinating. My favorite take was from Thoughts & Wants (Syndey Englehart) who pointed out (in a very well-written way) that there is nothing new under the sun and that the better practice is humility in the creative pursuit. I think both women could have probably acknowledged that there was crossover but that no one was the *first* to do it either.
Thank you so much for linking Sydney's work. I subscribed. I related even more to your interpretation of her take and nodded yes to every sentence in your comment. I don't think there is such a thing as an original thought or idea in 2025. That being said, I would do anything for an ounce of Juliana's confidence.

TRUTH!! Her ability to own her take is the kind of confidence I aspire to.
