EVERY BODY GETS DRESSED’s weekly curated edit of the only fashion newness worthy of your attention.
The long-awaited Tibi semi-annual sale kicked off a few hours ago. There are so many ardent Tibi superfans among the subscribers of this newsletter that I almost feel too intimidated to share my best picks. One such superfan is the delightful Rachel, who wrote an impressive guide to shopping the Tibi sale.
Almost… I like the suede pull-on skirt and t-shirt, this convertible short-pleated skirt situation, this sporty bomber, and this tie-front cotton skirt.
Popping up all over our feed is the Gap x Dôen collaboration, released a few weeks ago. If you missed the drop last summer, it’s back again but reimagined with the same coastal interpretation of classic Gap styles. Some favourites from the launch include this soft, 100% linen gingham midi dress with short puff-sleeve detailing, this delicate eyelet shirt, which is styled perfectly with the matching eyelet midi skirt, or even this denim sailor mini dress for a fun denim moment.
Each season, COS creates a Spotify playlist to encapsulate the aura of the clothing. The summer one is linked here, featuring tunes by Dusty Springfield, Horace Andy, Ezra Collective, and more — if you were looking for a new perfect 'getting-ready' playlist.
The brand also added some new items to its linen collection. The pieces that caught my eye were this tie-back linen top in tangerine, these wide leg linen drawstring pants in dark brown (I wear the cotton version as I sit writing this), which can be styled beautifully with this twist-detail linen blend top. Meanwhile, this oversized linen shirt in buttery yellow offers the perfect balance of texture and light ease. This stripey crew neck is also simple but elevated.
Uniqlo expanded its offerings in the bra top department, offering flattering silhouettes with built-in bras and support. The prospect of wearing a halter neck top without bra straps showing is certainly enticing. I’m eyeing the green open back halter top and light grey cropped rib top.
The tops are going viral, and Molly Campsie made a really useful review video of the range (she usually wears an E cup bra and US14/UK18 size clothing, and she bought the tops in XXL).
The June Edit from Banana Republic has recently launched with an envy-inducing lookbook shot in Mallorca. Some of the best pieces include this expensive-looking drop waist printed dress and this crinkle knit sleeveless polo, which pairs with a matching midi skirt. My favourite piece is actually this packable sun hat, which is a collab with Hat Attack, a family-run heritage brand.
Another cool thing about this drop is that pieces with the clay shell print, like this 100% silk shirt dress, were hand-drawn by Diana Skylacos, the women’s print designer at Banana Republic. She used a watercolour technique that incorporates imperfections, and wanted them to ‘feel like they have been rough and tumbled’.
Suppose it hasn't reached those warm temperatures where you’re based yet. In that case, Almada the Label has recently dropped some chic collared cardigans with a cashmere and merino wool blend, along with a more boxy-fitting version with dropped shoulders, which look great with a pair of jeans and flats. To wear on breezy summer boat rides ahead, they also have this cable knit sweater with detachable shoulder pads.
Bottega Veneta launched a beautiful campaign to commemorate 50 years of Intrecciato, the leather-weaving technique synonymous with the fashion house. The global campaign, ‘Craft Is Our Language’, is a visual ode to craftsmanship, connection, and humanity, featuring a collection of stills and films that showcase the woven technique through human gestures and a cast spanning art, film, fashion, and literary figures.
This weekend, Kotn launched their first-ever European location here in London, and I headed over to their block party in Shoreditch to browse the space and explore their new Summer collections. Served alongside falafel and fries from Berenjak were great summer pieces, like this off-shoulder tee (a great elevated basic), this funky knitted polo, and this striped tank with an open scoop back, which I would wear if I felt comfortable going braless.
Lastly, in the clothing category, is the recent drop of Ulla Johnson’s Pre-Fall 2025 collection - the only fall thing about it is in the name, in fact, it includes some really nice bikinis. I struggled to pick favourites, there were many desirable pieces from show-stopping dresses like this organdy dress to this fringed maxi skirt and short-sleeved denim jacket (as worn and styled by the founder here). Their sale is also definitely worth a detour if you visit their website.
In truth, I think Ulla Johnson is a brand that lets itself down by its styling, but they made some of the most reliable and timeless pieces in my wardrobe - I’ll be wearing a drop-waist poplin Ulla dress to a wedding in Greece on Saturday, and a demure printed puffy-sleeve blouse (not dissimilar to this one) to meet my boyfriend’s parents next weekend(!)
Now, Onto Shoes
Flip-flops have been a shoe I’ve been fascinated by for a while. I love how they have evolved to become ‘acceptable’ to wear outside of beach settings. Totême offers a satin pair with a heel made for date nights. A.Emery makes a simple, handcrafted leather version that has been a fashion set favourite for the past few summers.
I’m also loving Berlin-based brand Aeyde’s iterations from their latest High Summer 25 collection, which features flat flip-flops, such as this one with a comfortable padded footbed, as well as heeled options.
To accompany the launch, the brand had one of my favourite writers, Durga Chew Bose, reimagine the six Grimm Brothers’ tales that inspired them. Chew Bose brings the traditional German folklore of stories like Sleeping Beauty, Hansel & Gretel and Red Riding Hood into contemporary realms.
To accessorise the flip-flops? I’d recommend an anklet. Eliou has some that can also be worn as a bracelet and a necklace, offering perfect versatility. This one wraps around the ankle three times, adding a layered, dimensional element. They are handmade in Miami by their small team of women assemblers.
Jimmy Choo launched its archival collection, bringing back eight styles from the early years of the fashion house, spanning 1997-2001. Very SATC. This limited-edition capsule includes styles such as the Strappy (introduced as part of Jimmy Choo’s first-ever collection in 1997), the feathered ‘72138’, and my personal favourite, the Bow, a spotted elaphe-printed leather sandal with knot detail.
- posted a review of each shoe on her Instagram — equally educational and funny.

The Bottega campaign is everything!
idk, the tibi sale prices still seem sooooooo expensive to me, and i'm not convinced the pieces will stand the test of time. i say this because from what i see online, so many fans are always chasing the current season. so much ends up on the resale sites and just sits there. this is how it seems as an outsider to the fan club at least. what do others think?
