Start With The Archive
These are some of my most saved posts. Start where it stings most.
1. ‘I Want A Reliable Filter To Shop’
You waste hours scrolling and want clarity on what brands are worth it, without being influenced.
Every week, I filter through thousands of emails and send a summary of the only fashion newness, sales, and restocks worth your attention. It goes out mid-week and is ALWAYS FREE TO READ (no paywall).

Why Many Readers Become Paid Subscribers
Our weekly shopping edit is always free. Everything else is behind a paywall. A paid subscription is for you if:
🚫 You waste time deciding what to wear every day.
🚫 You own an overwhelming amount of clothes, of which you only wear ~15%.
🚫 You waste time scrolling and can’t find reliable reviews.
🚫 Your budget leaks into purchases that don’t advance your wardrobe.
🚫 You crowdsource taste to the algorithm, and outfits don’t fit your style.
What paid subscribers say they are getting:
✅ “More outfits from what I already own.”
✅ “A streamlined wardrobe that does more with fewer pieces.”
✅ “A much better filter for trends and hype. Go-to brands worth the money.”
✅ “Better cost-per-wear. Much fewer regret purchases.”
✅ “A style that feels unique to me. Not just what influencers are wearing”.
About This Newsletter’s Author
My name is Liza Belmonte. I’m a 37-year-old French/British style writer living in London. Unlike many other Substack writers, I don’t have a background in legacy media or content creation. Prior to launching this newsletter in 2023, I wore many hats: project lead at Amazon Fashion (gross, I know), growth partnerships manager for brands like Saint Laurent, Gucci, Bottega Veneta, and Net-A-Porter, founder of my own clothing brand, and garment product developer with a focus on size inclusivity and innovative modular design (as seen in Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, and more). This newsletter blends my passion for improving how we relate to clothes and my love for connecting with other women. You can DM on Instagram or email me at liza.m.belmonte@gmail.com.
