133. Toteme and Róhe's Long-Awaited Sales, Sold-Out Triangle Scarves, and Another Open Letter to The Row
This is EVERY BODY GETS DRESSED’s weekly edit of the only fashion news worthy of your attention.
Baserange dropped its Spring 2026 collection. I love the cotton poplin layers of the Decti pants and Decti skirt. As always, the new drop includes new seasonal shades of their classic Omato tee and Vein long sleeves, this time in a wearable muted lavender hue and soft clay nude.
Violet Grey founder Cassandra Grey wrote an ‘open letter renewing her vows to The Row’ on the heels of Neelam Ahooja’s ‘breaking up with The Row.’ Grey’s letter outlines her personal ties to the brand (her co-founder was Mary Kate and Ashley’s co-founder) and how the brand has stayed with her throughout her life (she exclusively wore The Row when pregnant). I really enjoyed reading Cassandra’s letter, although it did nothing to restore my faith that The Row is a gracious participant in the ecosystem that props up its reputation.
Tibi’s latest drop features a few of the inventive hybrid designs that are particularly popular with the readers of this newsletter: this cozy top combines a quilt with a T-shirt, this sleeveless tank features a built-in belt (the long-sleeved version was one of our most clicked items last year), and this top marries the aesthetic of a rain-ready anorak with an elegant blouse. I like the utilitarian feel of the khaki/hazelnut version.
Rachel Comey’s newness includes the Airey dress. Usually, when a piece uses organza, it obscures a banal slip dress underneath, but this time, a dress is layered over the mesh, allowing a deep-V neckline to take center stage, with the organza fanning out underneath. For a festive twist, style it with the Electric bag or the Bali heels combined with a pair of playful socks. Plenty of festive options have also been added to their sale since Black Friday.

As expected, hairstyles on The Row’s runway have paved the way for many brands to release combs. This week, I came across the very sweet, small Spanish brand Mosquito. Their striking Tapia comb and jade-beaded Cande comb are available via Goop and double as objects d’art on a dresser or nightstand when they’re not holding up your hair.
This Maria McManus dress from its pre-spring collection warrants its own bullet point. Perfect for Christmas parties or dressed down over a white tee and styled with chunky buckled boots. Très Blair Waldorf.
Still Here’s Sports jeans, which sold out when papped on Zoë Kravitz, are back in stock. We also love the Everyday jeans in chocolate corduroy and how the brand styled them: belted, with a cream vest over a white tee.

Kallmeyer dropped Resort 2026, and highlights include a linen viscose shirt-and-pencil-skirt plaid ensemble, a silver rope belt, and this unstructured cady scarf blazer. The scarf can be removed and styled multiple ways, including wrapped around the waist. All extremely wearable.
Toteme was one of the very few brands to sit out Black Friday this year but its end-of-season sale finally started on Thursday, including many seasonless staples. I purchased this cocoon cape wool blouse. Their Pre-Spring arrivals deliver options for now and next: if you’re looking for something to wear to an elegant Christmas party—this sharp, tailored black dress or this statement petal skirt—or if you’re already looking toward Spring— this oversized poppy-red trench, which is already selling out.
Knitwear brands can’t keep their cashmere triangle scarves in stock. And I can’t stop wearing mine (from Studio Nicholson and Parisian shop Merci). Guest In Residence’s wild rag is still sold out, but &Daughter Argyle handspun cashmere foulard came back in stock this morning. The one Dakota Johnson was photographed in last week is The Row.
Speaking of back in stock, for those who have been waiting, Jamie Haller restocked the Penny loafer in burgundy (a slightly brighter, browner-toned version of their Oxblood best-seller). The black ones were back and almost immediately sold out again within a few days; only sizes 36 and 37 are left. Their ponyhair baby pink and zebra versions are brand new. There are a few sizes left of their equally popular elongated Lennon boots.
Inspired by her grandmother’s coat, Nour Hammour released the cinematic matriarch coat. It’s a dramatic shearling coat with a Toscana collar. Finish it with these butter-soft leather gloves—choose silk lining if you run warm, or cashmere if you run cold.

Many brands released newness last week, but my top picks came from Róhe. It’s hard to believe the brand was founded only in 2021. Their collections already read as so consistent from season to season and have the assurance of brands far more established. Among other pieces, the deconstructed trench skirt and tuxedo silk top exemplify this. The brand sat out Black Friday last month but just launched its Fall-Winter sale, which includes many standout pieces that were highlighted in previous editions of this newsletter.
Other favorite: House of Dagmar’s new pre-spring collection includes a very striking nappa leather blazer with a nipped waist and slightly retro leather-covered buttons.
Last week, Courtney Grow teamed up with Alex Mill for an edit of her favorite mens and womenswear pieces. We have our eye on the marled merino roll neck. It’s technically menswear, so it would also make a great gift. Lovers of the ‘splash of red’ will lust after these gloves, which Courtney styled with the Donegal crewneck sweater.
