110. New Rachel Comey, Chan Luu Toe Rings, and Late-Summer Travel Picks
This Week's Drops and Launches Worthy of Your Attention.
This is EVERY BODY GETS DRESSED’s weekly curated edit of the only fashion newness worthy of your attention.
First Things First
Rachel Comey’s latest collection is here. The kitten Clemet heel goes with both the Baldera heart-printed silk skirt and the lambskin Motta Skirt. The geometric detailing on the soft Toolini bag complements its smooth suede material. The Altrezzo bag and Beryl slip-on shoes both sprawl out in zebra print. Lastly, the Fond and Fonder crewneck sweatshirts are available in new colorways.

Reformation’s 30% sale is live. There’s some strong selection, but it’s final sale—best to stick to your tried and trues from the brand (for me, that means dresses and tops).
New Gems
Dorsey’s Yves necklace and Lucien latchback earrings drop in turquoise and emerald, respectively. They now make their Riviere necklace— which was a game-changer for my wardrobe— with soft green tourmaline gemstones.

Have you ever nabbed a piece because it felt nostalgically important? Enter Chan Luu, a designer who works with artisan communities in Vietnam, Haiti, India, Kenya, and Inner Mongolia to create signature handmade pieces. After leaving her career in buying and merchandising, she transitioned into designing her own jewelry, later expanded into ready-to-wear and accessories, and has successfully kept her brand within the family for almost 30 years. Recently, she created stunning iterations of the toe ring of the early aughts. Consider the Ripple set for a dainty, everyday set of bands. If you want to look down at pearls and crystals on your feet, Caprice and La Perla are more your speed.
Beaufille released oversized jewelry this week, and this beaded ear cuff was a standout. My ears are miniature and I like to stack some days, so I’m opting for it in 6mm. Large hoops, as a jewelry choice, live within a zone of comfort for me. This cuff resembles the quintessential chunky hoop look. You can pair them with eye-catching post-backs: The way they were styled with these square studs produces a bold look that will liven up the most minimalist outfit.

Fall Edits? Already?
Yes and no. If you’re not ready for all of the fall talk, I get it— especially if you’re based in New York, where it’s still scorching hot and true fall weather isn’t expected to arrive until late October. Maybe you’re more focused on the now, or need travel-friendly options for trips you’re taking before summer officially ends.
For Your Flight
Malene Birger’s knee-grazing Cimonello cardigan is perfect to cozy up in on the plane. I prefer it in black as its button detail has a stronger, more alluring contrast than its beige colorway.
Alex Mill’s striped and gray polos are on the roomier side and layer well with other basics in between destinations. They’re also easy to pair with these straight-leg pants.
COS’ cashmere vests are my top pick from their latest knitwear arrivals. I’m big on having a strong color-to-texture combo and love it in dark brown. Definitely explore which shade matches best with your undertones (and the rest of your wardrobe). They also have matching cardigans. Whether you wear these buttoned or open, keep the sleeves rolled down, or it could look bunchy.
Aritzia launched a breathable cotton jersey fabric within their mainstay HomeStretch line, a collection of cozy basics with a bit of elasticity to them. You can either use these as loungewear or dress them up according to the occasion. I like the range of color options they have for the flared Foldover pant. This cami is a good place to start, and these boatneck and off-the-shoulder necklines on these long sleeves give a more upscale look. Depending on how you dress for the airport, wear these either alone or layered with a thicker pullover or cardigan.
For Your Destination
Modern Citizen released this drop waist dress with a scarf neckline. Their boat-necked Inari Dress is back in stock and perfect for the office.

Alex Mill’s three-part Coco set, striped button-up tank and Taylor cardigan are comfortable cotton pieces for your first day off the plane.
Beaufille’s babydoll-style Uma blouse has playful, ruffled detailing around the bust. Wear this sheer pink chiffon dress solo or try pairing it with flared pants. I’d add a heel or purse that’s either color or texture-rich to complement the shirred construction of the dress. SSENSE also has a lot of the designer's past season styles, like the Baes dress, discounted up to 60%.
As a callback to Chan Luu, some late summer pieces I saw on their site are these billowy, striped pants in white and black, this pink wraparound skirt, these cropped pants with bows at the hem, and this lustrously sequined midi tunic coverup. For 100% silk, this is a solid price.
Frame’s Crochet Cardi has an open-knit design that’s perfect for a warm and breezy climate.
The bubble finish along the hem of this COS dress is refreshing.
Malene Birger’s latest drop has a decadent knit cut-out sweater covered with pearls. Tote it as a beach coverup now and use it as a top layer when the seasons change.
La Ligne’s newest arrivals feature these airy poplin and sheer midis. Their sheer Tess Dress finishes at the ankle with a flare. This cashmere sweater, oversized top and long sleeve boyfriend polo can add more structure to the rest of your looks.
In case you’re concerned about the heavier side of Pre-Fall while they’re still in stock or just want to look ahead, I dug through some more Pre-Fall collections that are out now.
Still Here’s Sport Jeans in their previously sold-out Pear color is live and available for pre-order.

If you prefer your pants with adjustable waists, Kallmeyer’s barrel-shaped Clemence Pants are now on sale in Oyster on SSENSE, also in Elephant Gray on Net-A-Porter. Keep tabs on the silk icy blue shade. It would pair well with muted pink and orange tones, along with your go-to neutrals. Another pant with adjustable sizing is their silk Wesley piece that embraces a more voluminous, parachute-inspired silhouette.

Rohe’s Deconstructed Knitwear Capsule feels like an eye-catching way to upgrade your fall basics. Experimental, too. I like how this open back wrap top rethinks long sleeves as a tied, trailing sash. The halter turtleneck does the same in an asymmetrical style. This isn’t a part of the capsule, but the slight cinch and wide cuffs on this button-down balances out perfectly. I noticed they’ve discounted their sale pieces a bit more: this breezy pleated top with cloudlike sleeves is now $160, and this twisted and draped sleeveless top is now $196.
Looking for a deeper-hued, neutral friendly animal print in your arsenal? Frame’s high-rise leopard skirt is for you. They also released a lightweight cashmere polo sweater that, unlike Alex Mill’s oversized style, is fitted with a deep neckline. The structured fit of this new cropped suede jacket would pair well with a tank or ribbed crewneck for when it’s colder out.
Quickly covering overcoats: COS’ croc-embossed wrap skirt and overcoat are great textural picks. This blue suede blazer is super soft, as is this longer coat in green.
Shaped Up Footwear
Toteme released square-toed ballerina flats in croc-embossed leather.
Co’s Leather Ruched Pointed Flat looks great in Olive.
Prefer a round toe, maybe, or don’t care for another flat? Take a look at Emme Parsons’ new Parker Moccasin drops. A couple of colors are available in suede, but I like how their nappa leather options in red and espresso allow a subtle gloss to come through.
