This is EVERY BODY GETS DRESSED’s weekly curated edit of the only fashion newness worthy of your attention.
A. Emery introduced a new collection of footwear and ready-to-wear staples. Top picks include the minimal leather slide and the ankle-tied flip-flops. Both styles have a rubber outsole, making them durable for long days out.
If you need a pair with more foot support, their Jalen sandal has great reviews — one journalist wore them while walking 20,000 steps a day on a trip to Italy.
Liffner launched their High Summer collection. The collection blends their Scandinavian minimalism with Italian inspiration. The brand continues to be popular with the fashion set for its sleek shapes and price tags under $800. We love the lizard-effect clutch and the belted bucket bag. This review highlights its soft leather, structured-yet-slouchy shape, and impressive capacity—it fits a laptop, among other things. I gifted Liffner’s Sprout Tote to my mum three years ago. Her top priority in a bag is how light it feels, and it’s still the one she wears most often.
Are you tempted by the viral Tory Burch mirror dress? I find the mirror skirt from their latest drop equally striking but far more versatile. Pair it with a simple rib tank top; these slingbacks will bring it all together with the metal teardrop plate. The brilliant
made a video about the mirrorwork trend, and I learned that this technique dates back to the 17th century. If you’re drawn to Tory Burch’s other summer standout, the ribbed cotton tank with a floral embellishment on the chest, I like it styled with the matching printed satin trousers for a bold look or with these pleated shorts for something more low-key.
DONNI has launched the third part of its summer collection. It stands out from the two other drops by offering more loungewear and comfy pieces, like these baby rib scallop contrast pants (a fresh take on one of their best sellers), which pair well with this contrast tank. I also like these easy rib tanks with the elevated satin-like trim. They’ve opened pre-orders for their two most requested styles: the Linen Simple Pant and the Linen Crop Stripe Pant.
Kallmeyer dropped their new collection. I immediately loved this Norene top in silk taffeta. The brand styled it here with their new Oralie belt, which works beautifully. The silhouette also comes in a dress version. This other top caught my eye for its gathered shoulder detail.
If standout patterned dresses are your thing, Cara Cara has some new additions, like this coral paisley-print denim mini dress, this crocheted cotton midi dress, and, for a polka dot moment, this halterneck mini dress has a retro feel.
During Stockholm Fashion Week last month, House of Dagmar hosted work by artist Matthias van Arkel in their pop-up studio to explore how fashion and art come together synergistically.
The brand has pieces from their Spring/Summer 2025 collection on sale, including this curved denim jacket that I haven’t stopped wearing. I’m also into the volume of this poplin V-neck top, also available in an ankle-length dress, and this pleated skirt. It looks great with their open-back bouclé top, but will also easily be dressed down.
This summer, I’m gravitating toward seersucker over linen for casual everyday pieces like button-downs and shorts. It holds its shape better throughout the day and doesn’t wrinkle as easily. COS has several seersucker pieces as part of its latest arrivals—like this flared-sleeve blouse or these culottes—and British brand With Nothing Underneath has a whole line of them. I just got these striped seersucker boxer shorts.
Like many, I don't enjoy Aritzia's mirror-less fitting rooms and prefer to shop online. They have just restocked a few of their best-selling summer basics, including halter tops in a range of colours from simple neutrals to standout pastels, this cotton poplin maxi dress, and the Effortless low-rise pants in Japanese crepe, available in Petite, Regular, and Tall.
Nili Lotan recently shared her new Spotify playlist, ‘Highway Songs’. She says she listens to it with her husband while driving to visit their daughter, describing it as “setting the tone, stirring emotion, and passing the time with joy.” Think Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen, and more.
This week, the brand introduced its pre-fall ’25 collection. Some top picks from the drop include these high-waist jeans in Japanese non-stretch denim and these barrel-leg linen pants. Their great end-of-season sale continues, offering up to 50% off select items.
Summer Jewelry
Heaven Mayhem recently released its summer collection, and much of it is already sold out. It consists of chunky bangles, statement shell necklaces, and stone earrings, each emulating the perfect beachy, seaside look.
The founder, Pia Mance, hosts a podcast on which she interviews her friends (like Diana Cohen of Crown Affair), founders, and personalities. They discuss topics ranging from beauty and wellness to self-discovery.
On that bangle wave, Veronica Beard has also just introduced new jewelry and sunglasses into their product range. The enamel bangles in jade or tortoise are super chic.
Missoma is having a sale that includes statement hoop earrings (spotted on Selena Gomez) and cuff bracelets. The brand is said to have defined and pioneered the demi-fine jewelry movement. It offers pieces in gold vermeil, bridging the gap between fine and fashion jewelry, as reflected in the price point.
Summer Scents
Glossier launched its first-ever body mist collection. The first scent is Orange Blossom Neroli, which is citrusy with notes of orange and bergamot. The second is Sandstone with sandalwood, sage, and fig leaf. Both scents also come in a new nourishing lotion and daily oil wash. When the highest temperatures hit, I find a light fragrance mist much more appealing than a traditional fragrance. Aside from feeling refreshing, it can be reapplied throughout the day without becoming overpowering. Here are a few of my favorite picks:
Sol de Janeiro Number 40. It has a nostalgic, gourmand scent without feeling sickly sweet like many other products in the range (I love the smell so much that I layer the spray over the Number 40 body cream). I also use their SPF range at the beach, including the body oil sunscreen with SPF 50, which has a slight shimmer, and their body spray sunscreen. Both give your skin a nice glow and light scent without the stickiness.
I am not a fan of Phlur’s perfumes, but I really like their body mists. If you want something really gourmand, I recommend Heavy Cream. The Coconut Skin one is surprisingly not too sweet, but just smells like skin warmed up by the sun. If you prefer something more fruity, try Dragon Fruit. You can also apply these to your hair.
Thank you so much for reading and supporting Every Body Gets Dressed.

I love the language. I used to talk about scents! Among other things I love about you 😘
Great post. Love everything but do not bother downloading the Nili Lotan Spotify song list oddly named Highway Songs because I’ll I want to do listening to it is either fall asleep or drive into a wall 🤪
