Last Sunday’s newsletter received a lot of love. I’m so pleased that it resonated with you for its emphasis on outfit repeating and personal style. Today, on a subscriber’s request, I am showing another example of what this ‘7 Outfits for A Season’ framework could look like for someone with a Classic Glam personal style. To show you a different mix of casual vs. dressed up looks compared to last week’s, I have assumed a slightly different lifestyle, that of someone who has an in-person job and is expected to dress up more often. I am happy to publish as many examples of how this can work for different aesthetics as you find helpful - just let me know in the comments.

Are You Glam?

These are design elements from a glam wardrobe:

  • Black, crisp white, metallics, red, purple, and other bright colors worn as color blocks or monochromatically.

  • Bold textures like satin, silk, patent, leather, and faux fur.

  • Animal patterns and prints.

  • Structural clothes, dramatic cuts, flared pants, sharp tailoring, sexy silhouettes, tight, tailored, or slim-fitted fits.

  • Not a big fan of minimalism, neutral colors, etc.

As I have shared many times before, personal style is a spectrum; you can have a classic style and wear one or two glam-leaning element(s) - as I have done for the capsule wardrobe below - or combine many of them in the same outfit for a bolder maximalist look. If you’re new here, I previously shared an in-depth process that will help you find your personal style here.

I hope you have a beautiful Sunday and have fun getting dressed this week.
